A Celebration of Expression
Since childhood I have been enamored with photography and filmmaking. With still film photography my greatest satisfaction was realized in the darkroom producing a variety of different printing effects from one single frame of film. I enjoyed the precision and detail of the developing and printing processes. The advent of digital photography suddenly awakened me to the incredible capabilities of Adobe Photoshop. Like an artist with a canvas and a brush, it became possible to now express myself creatively by reimagining the camera images. The metamorphosis of a single or multiple photos into individual works is presented on this website. The process speaks to me and gives me great pleasure.
While some of my work was created prior to quarantining due to COVID 19, the bulk of it came to life during those many days of boredom. It couldn’t have been more fun!
